2 Kings 17:40-41

Chapter 17

40However, they did not listen, but they kept acting in accordance with their earlier custom. 41So while these nations feared the Lord, they also served their idols; their children likewise and their grandchildren, just as their fathers did, they do to this day.

Chapter 17

40Howbeit they did not hearken, but they did after their former manner. 41So these nations feared the Lord, and served their graven images, both their children, and their children's children: as did their fathers, so do they unto this day.

40However, these nations would not listen but continued observing their former practices. 41They feared the Lord but also served their idols. Still today, their children and grandchildren continue doing as their fathers did.
