22
And the sons of Israel walked in all the sins of Jeroboam which he committed; they did not desist from them
23
until the
Lord
removed Israel from His sight, just as He had spoken through all His servants the prophets. So Israel went into exile from their own land to Assyria until this day.
King James Version
Chapter 17
22
For the children of Israel walked in all the sins of Jeroboam which he did; they departed not from them;
23
Until the
Lord
removed Israel out of his sight, as he had said by all his servants the prophets. So was Israel carried away out of their own land to Assyria unto this day.

The Israelites persisted in all the sins that Jeroboam committed and did not turn away from them.

Finally, the
Lord
removed Israel from his presence just as he had declared through all his servants the prophets. So Israel has been exiled to Assyria from their homeland to this very day.

Chapter 17

And the people of Israel persisted in all the evil ways of Jeroboam. They did not turn from these sins

until the
Lord
finally swept them away from his presence, just as all his prophets had warned. So Israel was exiled from their land to Assyria, where they remain to this day.

The people of Israel walked in all the sins that Jeroboam did. They did not depart from them,
