Chapter 15
22
And Menahem lay down with his fathers, and his son Pekahiah became king in his place.
23
In the fiftieth year of Azariah king of Judah, Pekahiah the son of Menahem became king over Israel in Samaria,
and reigned
for two years.
24
He did evil in the sight of the
Lord
; he did not desist from the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, into which he misled Israel.

And Menahem slept with his fathers; and Pekahiah his son reigned in his stead.
23
In the fiftieth year of Azariah king of Judah Pekahiah the son of Menahem began to reign over Israel in Samaria, and reigned two years.

And he did that which was evil in the sight of the
Lord
: he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin.

When Menahem died, his son Pekahiah became the next king.

Pekahiah son of Menahem began to rule over Israel in the fiftieth year of King Uzziah’s reign in Judah. He reigned in Samaria two years.

But Pekahiah did what was evil in the
Lord
’s sight. He refused to turn from the sins that Jeroboam son of Nebat had led Israel to commit.
