2 Kings 13:11-12
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 13
11
He did evil in the sight of the
Lord
; he did not turn away from all the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, into which he misled Israel;
rather,
he walked in them.
12
Now
as for
the rest of the acts of Joash and all that he did, and his might with which he fought against Amaziah king of Judah, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel?
King James Version
Chapter 13
11
And he did that which was evil in the sight of the
Lord
; he departed not from all the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel sin: but he walked therein.
12
And the rest of the acts of Joash, and all that he did, and his might wherewith he fought against Amaziah king of Judah, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?
Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 13
11
He did what was evil in the
Lord
’s sight. He did not turn away from all the sins that Jeroboam son of Nebat had caused Israel to commit, but he continued them.
12
The rest of the events of Jehoash’s reign, along with all his accomplishments and the power he had to wage war against Judah’s King Amaziah, are written in the Historical Record of Israel’s Kings.
New Living Translation
Chapter 13
11
But he did what was evil in the
Lord
’s sight. He refused to turn from the sins that Jeroboam son of Nebat had led Israel to commit.
12
The rest of the events in Jehoash’s reign and everything he did, including the extent of his power and his war with King Amaziah of Judah, are recorded in
The Book of the History of the Kings of Israel.
English Standard Version
Chapter 13
11
He also did what was evil in the sight of the
Lord
. He did not depart from all the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, which he made Israel to sin, but he walked in them.
12
Now the rest of the acts of Joash and all that he did, and the might with which he fought against Amaziah king of Judah, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel?
New International Version
Chapter 13
11
He did evil in the eyes of the
Lord
and did not turn away from any of the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, which he had caused Israel to commit; he continued in them.
12
As for the other events of the reign of Jehoash, all he did and his achievements, including his war against Amaziah king of Judah, are they not written in the book of the annals of the kings of Israel?
New King James Version
Chapter 13
11
And he did evil in the sight of the
Lord
. He did not depart from all the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel sin,
but
walked in them.
12
Now the rest of the acts of Joash, all that he did, and his might with which he fought against Amaziah king of Judah,
are
they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?
