Chapter 10

9for I do not want to seem as if I would terrify you by my letters. 10For they say, 'His letters are weighty and strong, but his personal presence is unimpressive and his speech contemptible.'

9That I may not seem as if I would terrify you by letters. 10For his letters, say they, are weighty and powerful; but his bodily presence is weak, and his speech contemptible.
