1 Kings 8:28-30
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 8
28
Nevertheless, turn Your attention to the prayer of Your servant and to his plea,
Lord
, my God, to listen to the cry and to the prayer which Your servant prays before You today,
29
so that Your eyes may be open toward this house night and day, toward the place of which You have said, ‘My name shall be there,’ to listen to the prayer which Your servant will pray toward this place.
30
And listen to the plea of Your servant and of Your people Israel, when they pray toward this place; hear in heaven Your dwelling place; hear and forgive!
King James Version
Chapter 8
28
Yet have thou respect unto the prayer of thy servant, and to his supplication, O
Lord
my God, to hearken unto the cry and to the prayer, which thy servant prayeth before thee to day:
29
That thine eyes may be open toward this house night and day, even toward the place of which thou hast said, My name shall be there: that thou mayest hearken unto the prayer which thy servant shall make toward this place.
30
And hearken thou to the supplication of thy servant, and of thy people Israel, when they shall pray toward this place: and hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place: and when thou hearest, forgive.
Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 8
28
Listen to your servant’s prayer and his petition,
Lord
my God,
so that you may hear the cry and the prayer
that your servant prays before you today,
29
so that your eyes may watch over this temple night and day,
toward the place where you said,
"My name will be there,"
and so that you may hear the prayer
that your servant prays toward this place.
30
Hear the petition of your servant
and your people Israel,
which they pray toward this place.
May you hear in your dwelling place in heaven.
May you hear and forgive.
New Living Translation
Chapter 8
28
Nevertheless, listen to my prayer and my plea, O
Lord
my God. Hear the cry and the prayer that your servant is making to you today.
29
May you watch over this Temple night and day, this place where you have said, ‘My name will be there.’ May you always hear the prayers I make toward this place.
30
May you hear the humble and earnest requests from me and your people Israel when we pray toward this place. Yes, hear us from heaven where you live, and when you hear, forgive.
English Standard Version

30
And listen to the plea of your servant and of your people Israel, when they pray toward this place. And listen in heaven your dwelling place, and when you hear, forgive.
New International Version

Lord
my God. Hear the cry and the prayer that your servant is praying in your presence this day.

30
Hear the supplication of your servant and of your people Israel when they pray toward this place. Hear from heaven, your dwelling place, and when you hear, forgive.
New King James Version
Chapter 8
28
Yet regard the prayer of Your servant and his supplication, O
Lord
my God, and listen to the cry and the prayer which Your servant is praying before You today:
29

30
And may You hear the supplication of Your servant and of Your people Israel, when they pray toward this place. Hear in heaven Your dwelling place; and when You hear, forgive.
