But will God indeed dwell on the earth? Behold, heaven and the highest heaven cannot contain You, how much less this house which I have built!

Nevertheless, turn Your attention to the prayer of Your servant and to his plea,

Yet have thou respect unto the prayer of thy servant, and to his supplication, O

my God, to hearken unto the cry and to the prayer, which thy servant prayeth before thee to day:

Listen to your servant’s prayer and his petition,

so that you may hear the cry and the prayer
