1 Kings 7:17-23
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 7
17
There were
lattices of latticework and wreaths of chainwork for the capitals which were on the top of the pillars; seven for the one capital and seven for the other capital.
18
So he made the pillars, and two rows around on the one lattice to cover the capitals which were on the top of the pomegranates; and so he did for the other capital.
19
The capitals which
were
on the tops of the pillars in the porch were of lily design, four cubits.
20
So
there were
capitals on the two pillars, also above
and
close to the rounded projection which was beside the lattice; and the pomegranates
totaled
two hundred in rows around both capitals.
21
And he set up the pillars at the porch of the main room: he set up the right pillar and named it Jachin, and he set up the left pillar and named it Boaz.
22
On the top of the pillars was
the
lily design. So the work of the pillars was finished.
23
He also he made the Sea of cast
metal
ten cubits from brim to brim, circular
in shape,
and its height was five cubits, and it was thirty cubits in circumference.
King James Version
Chapter 7
17
And nets of checker work, and wreaths of chain work, for the chapiters which were upon the top of the pillars; seven for the one chapiter, and seven for the other chapiter.
18
And he made the pillars, and two rows round about upon the one network, to cover the chapiters that were upon the top, with pomegranates: and so did he for the other chapiter.
19
And the chapiters that were upon the top of the pillars were of lily work in the porch, four cubits.
20
And the chapiters upon the two pillars had pomegranates also above, over against the belly which was by the network: and the pomegranates were two hundred in rows round about upon the other chapiter.
21
And he set up the pillars in the porch of the temple: and he set up the right pillar, and called the name thereof Jachin: and he set up the left pillar, and called the name thereof Boaz.
22
And upon the top of the pillars was lily work: so was the work of the pillars finished.
23
And he made a molten sea, ten cubits from the one brim to the other: it was round all about, and his height was five cubits: and a line of thirty cubits did compass it round about.

Chapter 7
17
The capitals on top of the pillars had gratings of latticework, wreaths made of chainwork—seven for the first capital and seven for the second.
18
He made the pillars with two encircling rows of pomegranates on the one grating to cover the capital on top; he did the same for the second capital.
19
And the capitals on top of the pillars in the portico were shaped like lilies, six feet high.
20
The capitals on the two pillars were also immediately above the rounded surface next to the grating, and two hundred pomegranates were in rows encircling each capital.
21
He set up the pillars at the portico of the sanctuary: he set up the right pillar and named it Jachin; then he set up the left pillar and named it Boaz.
22
The tops of the pillars were shaped like lilies. Then the work of the pillars was completed.
23
He made the cast metal basin, 15 feet from brim to brim, perfectly round. It was 7½ feet high and 45 feet in circumference.
New Living Translation
Chapter 7
17
Each capital was decorated with seven sets of latticework and interwoven chains.
18
He also encircled the latticework with two rows of pomegranates to decorate the capitals over the pillars.
19
The capitals on the columns inside the entry room were shaped like water lilies, and they were six feet tall.
20
The capitals on the two pillars had 200 pomegranates in two rows around them, beside the rounded surface next to the latticework.
21
Huram set the pillars at the entrance of the Temple, one toward the south and one toward the north. He named the one on the south Jakin, and the one on the north Boaz.
22
The capitals on the pillars were shaped like water lilies. And so the work on the pillars was finished.
23
Then Huram cast a great round basin, 15 feet across from rim to rim, called the Sea. It was 7 1/2 feet deep and about 45 feet in circumference.
English Standard Version
Chapter 7
17
There were lattices of checker work with wreaths of chain work for the capitals on the tops of the pillars, a lattice for the one capital and a lattice for the other capital.
18
Likewise he made pomegranates in two rows around the one latticework to cover the capital that was on the top of the pillar, and he did the same with the other capital.
19
Now the capitals that were on the tops of the pillars in the vestibule were of lily-work, four cubits.
20
The capitals were on the two pillars and also above the rounded projection which was beside the latticework. There were two hundred pomegranates in two rows all around, and so with the other capital.
21
He set up the pillars at the vestibule of the temple. He set up the pillar on the south and called its name Jachin, and he set up the pillar on the north and called its name Boaz.
22
And on the tops of the pillars was lily-work. Thus the work of the pillars was finished.
23
Then he made the sea of cast metal. It was round, ten cubits from brim to brim, and five cubits high, and a line of thirty cubits measured its circumference.
New International Version
Chapter 7
17
A network of interwoven chains adorned the capitals on top of the pillars, seven for each capital.
18
He made pomegranates in two rows encircling each network to decorate the capitals on top of the pillars. He did the same for each capital.
19
The capitals on top of the pillars in the portico were in the shape of lilies, four cubits high.
20
On the capitals of both pillars, above the bowl-shaped part next to the network, were the two hundred pomegranates in rows all around.
21
He erected the pillars at the portico of the temple. The pillar to the south he named Jakin and the one to the north Boaz.
22
The capitals on top were in the shape of lilies. And so the work on the pillars was completed.
23
He made the Sea of cast metal, circular in shape, measuring ten cubits from rim to rim and five cubits high. It took a line of thirty cubits to measure around it.
New King James Version
Chapter 7
17
He made
a lattice network, with wreaths of chainwork, for the capitals which
were
on top of the pillars: seven chains for one capital and seven for the other capital.
18
So he made the pillars, and two rows of pomegranates above the network all around to cover the capitals that
were
on top; and thus he did for the other capital.
19
The capitals which
were
on top of the pillars in the hall
were
in the shape of lilies, four cubits.
20
The capitals on the two pillars also
had pomegranates
above, by the convex surface which
was
next to the network; and there
were
two hundred such pomegranates in rows on each of the capitals all around.
21
Then he set up the pillars by the vestibule of the temple; he set up the pillar on the right and called its name Jachin, and he set up the pillar on the left and called its name Boaz.
22
The tops of the pillars were in the shape of lilies. So the work of the pillars was finished.
23
And he made the Sea of cast bronze, ten cubits from one brim to the other;
it was
completely round. Its height
was
five cubits, and a line of thirty cubits measured its circumference.
