Chapter 4
13Ben-geber in Ramoth-gilead (the villages of Jair, the son of Manasseh, which are in Gilead were his: the region of Argob, which is in Bashan, sixty great cities with walls and bronze bars were his); 14Ahinadab the son of Iddo in Mahanaim; 15Ahimaaz in Naphtali (he also married Basemath the daughter of Solomon); 16Baana the son of Hushai in Asher and Bealoth; 17Jehoshaphat the son of Paruah in Issachar; 18Shimei the son of Ela in Benjamin; 19Geber the son of Uri in the land of Gilead, the country of Sihon king of the Amorites and of Og king of Bashan; and he was the only deputy who was in the land.
22Solomon’s provision for one day was thirty kors of fine flour and sixty kors of meal,
23ten fat oxen, twenty pasture-fed oxen, and a hundred sheep, besides deer, gazelles, roebucks, and fattened geese.
24For he was ruling over everything west of the Euphrates River, from Tiphsah even to Gaza, over all the kings west of the River; and he had peace on all sides surrounding him.

20Judah and Israel were many, as the sand which is by the sea in multitude, eating and drinking, and making merry.
21And Solomon reigned over all kingdoms from the river unto the land of the Philistines, and unto the border of Egypt: they brought presents, and served Solomon all the days of his life.
22And Solomon's provision for one day was thirty measures of fine flour, and threescore measures of meal,
23Ten fat oxen, and twenty oxen out of the pastures, and an hundred sheep, beside harts, and roebucks, and fallowdeer, and fatted fowl.
24For he had dominion over all the region on this side the river, from Tiphsah even to Azzah, over all the kings on this side the river: and he had peace on all sides round about him.

20Judah and Israel were as numerous as the sand by the sea; they were eating, drinking, and rejoicing.
21Solomon ruled all the kingdoms from the Euphrates River to the land of the Philistines and as far as the border of Egypt. They offered tribute and served Solomon all the days of his life.
22Solomon's provisions for one day were 180 bushels of fine flour and 360 bushels of meal,
23ten fattened cattle, twenty range cattle, and a hundred sheep and goats, besides deer, gazelles, roebucks, and pen-fed poultry,
24for he had dominion over everything west of the Euphrates from Tiphsah to Gaza and over all the kings west of the Euphrates. He had peace on all his surrounding borders.

(He was married to Basemath, another of Solomon’s daughters.) 16Baana son of Hushai, in Asher and in Aloth. 17Jehoshaphat son of Paruah, in Issachar. 18Shimei son of Ela, in Benjamin. 19Geber son of Uri, in the land of Gilead, including the territories of King Sihon of the Amorites and King Og of Bashan. There was also one governor over the land of Judah.
20The people of Judah and Israel were as numerous as the sand on the seashore. They were very contented, with plenty to eat and drink.
21Solomon ruled over all the kingdoms from the Euphrates River in the north to the land of the Philistines and the border of Egypt in the south. The conquered peoples of those lands sent tribute money to Solomon and continued to serve him throughout his lifetime.
