New American Standard Bible
Chapter 21
24
The one belonging to Ahab, who dies in the city, the dogs will eat; and the one who dies in the field, the birds of the sky will eat.'

There certainly was no one like Ahab who gave himself over to do evil in the sight of the
Lord
, because Jezebel his wife incited him.
King James Version
Chapter 21
24
Him that dieth of Ahab in the city the dogs shall eat; and him that dieth in the field shall the fowls of the air eat.

Lord
, whom Jezebel his wife stirred up.
Christian Standard Bible

24
Anyone who belongs to Ahab and dies in the city, the dogs will eat,
and anyone who dies in the field, the birds will eat.’"

Still, there was no one like Ahab, who devoted himself to do what was evil in the
Lord
’s sight, because his wife Jezebel incited him.
New Living Translation
Chapter 21
24
The members of Ahab’s family who die in the city will be eaten by dogs, and those who die in the field will be eaten by vultures.'

Lord
’s sight as Ahab did under the influence of his wife Jezebel.
English Standard Version
Chapter 21
24
Anyone belonging to Ahab who dies in the city the dogs shall eat, and anyone of his who dies in the open country the birds of the heavens shall eat."
25
(There was none who sold himself to do what was evil in the sight of the
Lord
like Ahab, whom Jezebel his wife incited.
New International Version
Chapter 21
24
"Dogs will eat those belonging to Ahab who die in the city, and the birds will feed on those who die in the country."
25
(There was never anyone like Ahab, who sold himself to do evil in the eyes of the
Lord
, urged on by Jezebel his wife.
New King James Version
Chapter 21
24
The dogs shall eat whoever belongs to Ahab and dies in the city, and the birds of the air shall eat whoever dies in the field.”
25
But there was no one like Ahab who sold himself to do wickedness in the sight of the
Lord
, because Jezebel his wife stirred him up.
