Now Ahab told Jezebel everything that Elijah had done, and how he had killed all the prophets with the sword.

Then Jezebel sent a messenger to Elijah, saying, 'So may the gods do to me and more so, if

And he was afraid, and got up and ran for his life and came to Beersheba, which belongs to Judah; and he left his servant there.

And Ahab told Jezebel all that Elijah had done, and withal how he had slain all the prophets with the sword.

Then Jezebel sent a messenger unto Elijah, saying, So let the gods do to me, and more also, if I make not thy life as the life of one of them by to morrow about this time.

And when he saw that, he arose, and went for his life, and came to Beersheba, which belongeth to Judah, and left his servant there.

Ahab told Jezebel everything that Elijah had done and how he had killed all the prophets with the sword.

So Jezebel sent a messenger to Elijah, saying, "May the gods punish me and do so severely if I don’t make your life like the life of one of them by this time tomorrow!"

Then Elijah became afraid and immediately ran for his life. When he came to Beer-sheba that belonged to Judah, he left his servant there,

When Ahab got home, he told Jezebel everything Elijah had done, including the way he had killed all the prophets of Baal.

So Jezebel sent this message to Elijah: 'May the gods strike me and even kill me if by this time tomorrow I have not killed you just as you killed them.'

Elijah was afraid and fled for his life. He went to Beersheba, a town in Judah, and he left his servant there.
