Chapter 18
1Now it happened after many days that the word of the Lord came to Elijah in the third year, saying, 'Go, present yourself to Ahab, and I will provide rain on the face of the earth.' 2So Elijah went to present himself to Ahab. Now the famine was severe in Samaria. 3Ahab summoned Obadiah, who was in charge of the household. (Now Obadiah feared the Lord greatly; 4for when Jezebel killed the prophets of the Lord, Obadiah took a hundred prophets and hid them by fifties in a cave, and provided them with bread and water.)King James Version

And there was a sore famine in Samaria. 3And Ahab called Obadiah, which was the governor of his house. (Now Obadiah feared the LORD greatly: 4For it was so, when Jezebel cut off the prophets of the LORD, that Obadiah took an hundred prophets, and hid them by fifty in a cave, and fed them with bread and water.)Christian Standard Bible

3Ahab called for Obadiah, who was in charge of the palace. Obadiah was a man who greatly feared the Lord
4and took a hundred prophets and hid them, fifty men to a cave, and provided them with food and water when Jezebel slaughtered the Lord's prophets.

2So Elijah went to appear before Ahab. Meanwhile, the famine had become very severe in Samaria.
3So Ahab summoned Obadiah, who was in charge of the palace. (Obadiah was a devoted follower of the Lord.
4Once when Jezebel had tried to kill all the Lord’s prophets, Obadiah had hidden 100 of them in two caves. He put fifty prophets in each cave and supplied them with food and water.)
