Chapter 17

4And it shall be that you will drink from the brook, and I have commanded the ravens to provide food for you there.' 5So he went and did everything according to the word of the Lord, for he went and lived by the brook Cherith, which is east of the Jordan.

Chapter 17

4And it shall be, that thou shalt drink of the brook; and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there. 5So he went and did according unto the word of the Lord: for he went and dwelt by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan.
Christian Standard Bible

Chapter 17

4You are to drink from the wadi. I have commanded the ravens to provide for you there."
5So he proceeded to do what the Lord commanded. Elijah left and lived at the Wadi Cherith where it enters the Jordan.

4Drink from the brook and eat what the ravens bring you, for I have commanded them to bring you food.'
5So Elijah did as the Lord told him and camped beside Kerith Brook, east of the Jordan.
