Chapter 14
15For the Lord will strike Israel, just as a reed sways in the water; and He will uproot Israel from this good land which He gave to their fathers, and will scatter them beyond the Euphrates River, because they have made their Asherim, provoking the Lord to anger. 16He will give up Israel because of the sins of Jeroboam, which he committed and with which he misled Israel into sin.'King James Version

15For the Lord shall smite Israel, as a reed is shaken in the water, and he shall root up Israel out of this good land, which he gave to their fathers, and shall scatter them beyond the river, because they have made their groves, provoking the Lord to anger. 16And he shall give Israel up because of the sins of Jeroboam, who did sin, and who made Israel to sin.Christian Standard Bible
