1 Corinthians 4:3-4
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 4
3
But to me it is an insignificant matter that I would be examined by you, or by
any
human court; in fact, I do not even examine myself.
4
For I am not aware of anything against myself; however I am not vindicated by this, but the one who examines me is the Lord.
King James Version
Chapter 4
3
But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man's judgment: yea, I judge not mine own self.
4
For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord.
Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 4
3
It is of little importance to me that I should be judged by you or by any human court. In fact, I don't even judge myself.
4
For I am not conscious of anything against myself, but I am not justified by this. It is the Lord who judges me.
New Living Translation
Chapter 4
3
As for me, it matters very little how I might be evaluated by you or by any human authority. I don’t even trust my own judgment on this point.
4
My conscience is clear, but that doesn’t prove I’m right. It is the Lord himself who will examine me and decide.
English Standard Version
Chapter 4
3
But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you or by any human court. In fact, I do not even judge myself.
4
For I am not aware of anything against myself, but I am not thereby acquitted. It is the Lord who judges me.
New International Version
Chapter 4
3
I care very little if I am judged by you or by any human court; indeed, I do not even judge myself.
4
My conscience is clear, but that does not make me innocent. It is the Lord who judges me.
New King James Version
Chapter 4
3
But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you or by a human court. In fact, I do not even judge myself.
4
For I know of nothing against myself, yet I am not justified by this; but He who judges me is the Lord.
