1 Corinthians 4:2-4
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 4
2In this case, moreover, it is required of stewards that one be found trustworthy. 3But to me it is an insignificant matter that I would be examined by you, or by any human court; in fact, I do not even examine myself. 4For I am not aware of anything against myself; however I am not vindicated by this, but the one who examines me is the Lord.King James Version
Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 4
2In this regard, it is required that managers be found faithful. 3It is of little importance to me that I should be judged by you or by any human court. In fact, I don't even judge myself. 4For I am not conscious of anything against myself, but I am not justified by this. It is the Lord who judges me.New Living Translation
Chapter 4
2Now, a person who is put in charge as a manager must be faithful. 3As for me, it matters very little how I might be evaluated by you or by any human authority. I don’t even trust my own judgment on this point. 4My conscience is clear, but that doesn’t prove I’m right. It is the Lord himself who will examine me and decide.English Standard Version
Chapter 4
2Moreover, it is required of stewards that they be found faithful. 3But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you or by any human court. In fact, I do not even judge myself. 4For I am not aware of anything against myself, but I am not thereby acquitted. It is the Lord who judges me.New International Version
