1 Corinthians 3:14-20
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 3
14If anyone’s work which he has built on it remains, he will receive a reward. 15If anyone’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet only so as through fire.
16Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
17If anyone destroys the temple of God, God will destroy that person; for the temple of God is holy, and that is what you are.
18Take care that no one deceives himself. If anyone among you thinks that he is wise in this age, he must become foolish, so that he may become wise.
19For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in the sight of God. For it is written: 'He is THE ONE WHO CATCHES THE WISE BY THEIR CRAFTINESS';
20and again, 'THE Lord KNOWS THE THOUGHTS of the wise, THAT THEY ARE useless.'
King James Version
Chapter 3
14If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. 15If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. 16Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? 17If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 3
14If anyone’s work that he has built survives, he will receive a reward. 15If anyone’s work is burned up, he will experience loss, but he himself will be saved —but only as through fire.
16Don’t you yourselves know that you are God’s temple and that the Spirit of God lives in you?
17If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is holy, and that is what you are.
18Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you thinks he is wise in this age, let him become a fool so that he can become wise.
19For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God, since it is written, He catches the wise in their craftiness;
20and again, The Lord knows that the reasonings of the wise are futile.
New Living Translation

14If what has been built survives, the builder will receive a reward. 15If it is burned up, the builder will suffer loss but yet will be saved—even though only as one escaping through the flames.
16Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst?
17If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person; for God’s temple is sacred, and you together are that temple.
18Do not deceive yourselves. If any of you think you are wise by the standards of this age, you should become "fools" so that you may become wise.
19For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God’s sight. As it is written: "He catches the wise in their craftiness" ;
