11For no one can lay a foundation other than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12Now if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw, 13each one’s work will become evident; for the day will show it because it is to be revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test the quality of each one’s work. 14If anyone’s work which he has built on it remains, he will receive a reward.King James Version

That foundation is Jesus Christ. 12If anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay, or straw, 13each one’s work will become obvious. For the day will disclose it, because it will be revealed by fire; the fire will test the quality of each one’s work. 14If anyone’s work that he has built survives, he will receive a reward.New Living Translation
12Anyone who builds on that foundation may use a variety of materials — gold, silver, jewels, wood, hay, or straw.
13But on the judgment day, fire will reveal what kind of work each builder has done. The fire will show if a person’s work has any value.
14If the work survives, that builder will receive a reward.
