Chapter 9

33Now these are the singers, heads of fathers’ households of the Levites, who lived in the chambers of the temple free of other duties; for they were engaged in their work day and night. 34These were heads of fathers’ households of the Levites according to their generations, chief men who lived in Jerusalem.
35Jeiel the father of Gibeon lived in Gibeon, and his wife’s name was Maacah,

33And these are the singers, chief of the fathers of the Levites, who remaining in the chambers were free: for they were employed in that work day and night. 34These chief fathers of the Levites were chief throughout their generations; these dwelt at Jerusalem. 35And in Gibeon dwelt the father of Gibeon, Jehiel, whose wife's name was Maachah:
