Chapter 8

27Jaareshiah, Elijah, and Zichri were the sons of Jeroham. 28These were heads of the fathers’ households according to their generations, chief men who lived in Jerusalem.
29Now, Jeiel, the father of Gibeon lived in Gibeon, and his wife’s name was Maacah; 30and his firstborn son was Abdon, then Zur, Kish, Baal, Nadab, 31Gedor, Ahio, and Zecher. 32Mikloth fathered Shimeah. They also lived with their relatives in Jerusalem opposite their other relatives.

27And Jaresiah, and Eliah, and Zichri, the sons of Jeroham. 28These were heads of the fathers, by their generations, chief men. These dwelt in Jerusalem.
29And at Gibeon dwelt the father of Gibeon; whose wife's name was Maachah: 30And his firstborn son Abdon, and Zur, and Kish, and Baal, and Nadab, 31And Gedor, and Ahio, and Zacher.
32And Mikloth begat Shimeah. And these also dwelt with their brethren in Jerusalem, over against them.

28These were the leaders of the ancestral clans; they were listed in their genealogical records, and they all lived in Jerusalem.
29Jeiel (the father of Gibeon) lived in the town of Gibeon. His wife’s name was Maacah, 30and his oldest son was named Abdon. Jeiel’s other sons were Zur, Kish, Baal, Ner, Nadab, 31Gedor, Ahio, Zechariah, 32and Mikloth, who was the father of Shimeam. All these families lived near each other in Jerusalem.
