Chapter 6
64So the sons of Israel gave the Levites the cities with their pasture lands. 65They gave by lot from the tribe of the sons of Judah, the tribe of the sons of Simeon, and the tribe of the sons of Benjamin, these cities which are mentioned by name.
66Now some of the families of the sons of Kohath had cities of their territory from the tribe of Ephraim.
67They gave to them the following cities of refuge: Shechem in the hill country of Ephraim with its pasture lands, Gezer with its pasture lands,
68Jokmeam with its pasture lands, Beth-horon with its pasture lands,
69Aijalon with its pasture lands, and Gath-rimmon with its pasture lands;
70and from the half-tribe of Manasseh: Aner with its pasture lands and Bileam with its pasture lands, for the rest of the family of the sons of Kohath.
71To the sons of Gershom were given, from the family of the half-tribe of Manasseh: Golan in Bashan with its pasture lands and Ashtaroth with its pasture lands;
72and from the tribe of Issachar: Kedesh with its pasture lands, Daberath with its pasture lands,
73Ramoth with its pasture lands, and Anem with its pasture lands;
74and from the tribe of Asher: Mashal with its pasture lands, Abdon with its pasture lands,

64So the Israelites gave these towns and their pasturelands to the Levites. 65They assigned by lot the towns named above from the tribes of the descendants of Judah, Simeon, and Benjamin.
67Shechem (a city of refuge) with its pasturelands in the hill country of Ephraim, Gezer and its pasturelands,
68Jokmeam and its pasturelands, Beth-horon and its pasturelands,
69Aijalon and its pasturelands, and Gath-rimmon and its pasturelands.
70From half the tribe of Manasseh, Aner and its pasturelands, and Bileam and its pasturelands were given to the rest of the families of the Kohathites.
71The Gershomites received:Golan in Bashan and its pasturelands, and Ashtaroth and its pasturelands from the families of half the tribe of Manasseh.
72From the tribe of Issachar they received Kedesh and its pasturelands, Daberath and its pasturelands,
73Ramoth and its pasturelands, and Anem and its pasturelands.
74From the tribe of Asher they received Mashal and its pasturelands, Abdon and its pasturelands,

64So the people of Israel assigned all these towns and pasturelands to the Levites. 65The towns in the territories of Judah, Simeon, and Benjamin, mentioned above, were assigned to them by means of sacred lots.
66The descendants of Kohath were given the following towns from the territory of Ephraim, each with its pasturelands:
67Shechem (a city of refuge in the hill country of Ephraim), Gezer,
68Jokmeam, Beth-horon,
69Aijalon, and Gath-rimmon.
70The remaining descendants of Kohath were assigned the towns of Aner and Bileam from the territory of the half-tribe of Manasseh, each with its pasturelands.
71The descendants of Gershon received the towns of Golan (in Bashan) and Ashtaroth from the territory of the half-tribe of Manasseh, each with its pasturelands.
72From the territory of Issachar, they were given Kedesh, Daberath,
73Ramoth, and Anem, each with its pasturelands.
74From the territory of Asher, they received Mashal, Abdon,
