Chapter 6
50These are the sons of Aaron: Eleazar his son, Phinehas his son, Abishua his son, 51Bukki his son, Uzzi his son, Zerahiah his son, 52Meraioth his son, Amariah his son, Ahitub his son, 53Zadok his son, and Ahimaaz his son.
54Now these are their settlements according to their camps within their borders. To the sons of Aaron of the families of the Kohathites (for theirs was the first lot),
55to them they gave Hebron in the land of Judah and its pasture lands around it;
56but they gave the fields of the city and its settlements to Caleb the son of Jephunneh.
57To the sons of Aaron they gave the following cities of refuge: Hebron, Libnah together with its pasture lands, Jattir, Eshtemoa with its pasture lands,
58Hilen with its pasture lands, Debir with its pasture lands,
59Ashan with its pasture lands, and Beth-shemesh with its pasture lands;
60and from the tribe of Benjamin: Geba with its pasture lands, Allemeth with its pasture lands, and Anathoth with its pasture lands. Their cities throughout their families were thirteen cities in all.
61Then to the rest of the sons of Kohath were given by lot, from the family of the tribe, from the half-tribe, the half of Manasseh, ten cities.
62To the sons of Gershom, according to their families, were given from the tribe of Issachar, the tribe of Asher, the tribe of Naphtali, and the tribe of Manasseh, thirteen cities in Bashan.
63To the sons of Merari were given by lot, according to their families, from the tribe of Reuben, the tribe of Gad, and the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities.
64So the sons of Israel gave the Levites the cities with their pasture lands.
65They gave by lot from the tribe of the sons of Judah, the tribe of the sons of Simeon, and the tribe of the sons of Benjamin, these cities which are mentioned by name.

61And unto the sons of Kohath, which were left of the family of that tribe, were cities given out of the half tribe, namely, out of the half tribe of Manasseh, by lot, ten cities.

54These were the places assigned to Aaron’s descendants from the Kohathite family for their settlements in their territory, because the first lot was for them.
55They were given Hebron in the land of Judah and its surrounding pasturelands,
56but the fields and settlements around the city were given to Caleb son of Jephunneh.
57Aaron’s descendants were given: Hebron (a city of refuge), Libnah and its pasturelands, Jattir, Eshtemoa and its pasturelands,
58Hilen and its pasturelands, Debir and its pasturelands,
59Ashan and its pasturelands, and Beth-shemesh and its pasturelands.
60From the tribe of Benjamin they were given Geba and its pasturelands, Alemeth and its pasturelands, and Anathoth and its pasturelands. They had thirteen towns in all among their families.
63The Merarites were assigned by lot twelve towns from the tribes of Reuben, Gad, and Zebulun according to their families.
64So the Israelites gave these towns and their pasturelands to the Levites.
65They assigned by lot the towns named above from the tribes of the descendants of Judah, Simeon, and Benjamin.

50The descendants of Aaron were Eleazar, Phinehas, Abishua, 51Bukki, Uzzi, Zerahiah, 52Meraioth, Amariah, Ahitub, 53Zadok, and Ahimaaz.
54This is a record of the towns and territory assigned by means of sacred lots to the descendants of Aaron, who were from the clan of Kohath.
55This territory included Hebron and its surrounding pasturelands in Judah,
56but the fields and outlying areas belonging to the city were given to Caleb son of Jephunneh.
57So the descendants of Aaron were given the following towns, each with its pasturelands: Hebron (a city of refuge), Libnah, Jattir, Eshtemoa,
58Holon, Debir,
59Ain, Juttah, and Beth-shemesh.
60And from the territory of Benjamin they were given Gibeon, Geba, Alemeth, and Anathoth, each with its pasturelands. So thirteen towns were given to the descendants of Aaron.
61The remaining descendants of Kohath received ten towns from the territory of the half-tribe of Manasseh by means of sacred lots.

63To the sons of Merari, throughout their families, they gave twelve cities from the tribe of Reuben, from the tribe of Gad, and from the tribe of Zebulun.
64So the children of Israel gave these cities with their common-lands to the Levites.
65And they gave by lot from the tribe of the children of Judah, from the tribe of the children of Simeon, and from the tribe of the children of Benjamin these cities which are called by their names.
