Exodus 22:13

ESV If it is torn by beasts, let him bring it as evidence. He shall not make restitution for what has been torn.
NIV If it was torn to pieces by a wild animal, the neighbor shall bring in the remains as evidence and shall not be required to pay for the torn animal.
NASB If it is all torn to pieces, have him bring it as evidence; he shall not be compelled to make restitution for what has been torn to pieces.
CSB If it was actually torn apart by a wild animal, he is to bring it as evidence; he does not have to make restitution for the torn carcass.
NLT If it was torn to pieces by a wild animal, the remains of the carcass must be shown as evidence, and no compensation will be required.
