Ecclesiastes 9:5

ESV For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing, and they have no more reward, for the memory of them is forgotten.
NIV For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing; they have no further reward, and even their name is forgotten.
NASB For the living know that they will die; but the dead do not know anything, nor do they have a reward any longer, for their memory is forgotten.
CSB For the living know that they will die, but the dead don't know anything. There is no longer a reward for them because the memory of them is forgotten.
