2 Chronicles 6:8
ESV But the LORD said to David my father, ‘Whereas it was in your heart to build a house for my name, you did well that it was in your heart.
NIV But the LORD said to my father David, 'You did well to have it in your heart to build a temple for my Name.
NASB But the Lord said to my father David, ‘Because it was in your heart to build a house for My name, you did well that it was in your heart.
CSB However, the Lord said to my father David, "Since it was your desire to build a temple for my name, you have done well to have this desire.
