2 Chronicles 23:3
ESV And all the assembly made a covenant with the king in the house of God. And Jehoiada said to them, “Behold, the king’s son! Let him reign, as the LORD spoke concerning the sons of David.
NIV the whole assembly made a covenant with the king at the temple of God. Jehoiada said to them, 'The king's son shall reign, as the LORD promised concerning the descendants of David.
NASB Then all the assembly made a covenant with the king in the house of God. And Jehoiada said to them, 'Behold, the king’s son shall reign, as the Lord has spoken concerning the sons of David.
CSB Then the whole assembly made a covenant with the king in God's temple. Jehoiada said to them, "Here is the king's son! He will reign, just as the Lord promised concerning David's sons.
NLT They all gathered at the Temple of God, where they made a solemn pact with Joash, the young king. Jehoiada said to them, 'Here is the king’s son! The time has come for him to reign! The Lord has promised that a descendant of David will be our king.
