What does Job 5:5 mean?
ESV: The hungry eat his harvest, and he takes it even out of thorns, and the thirsty pant after his wealth.
NIV: The hungry consume his harvest, taking it even from among thorns, and the thirsty pant after his wealth.
NASB: The hungry devour his harvest And take it to a place of thorns, And the schemer is eager for their wealth.
CSB: The hungry consume his harvest, even taking it out of the thorns. The thirsty pant for his children's wealth.
