What does 2 Chronicles 25:15 mean?
ESV: Therefore the Lord was angry with Amaziah and sent to him a prophet, who said to him, "Why have you sought the gods of a people who did not deliver their own people from your hand?"
NIV: The anger of the Lord burned against Amaziah, and he sent a prophet to him, who said, "Why do you consult this people’s gods, which could not save their own people from your hand?"
NASB: So the anger of the Lord burned against Amaziah, and He sent him a prophet who said to him, 'Why have you sought the gods of the people who have not saved their own people from your hand?'
CSB: So the Lord’s anger was against Amaziah, and he sent a prophet to him, who said, "Why have you sought a people’s gods that could not rescue their own people from you?"
