Chapter 7
10And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart. 11But they refused to hearken, and pulled away the shoulder, and stopped their ears, that they should not hear. 12Yea, they made their hearts as an adamant stone, lest they should hear the law, and the words which the LORD of hosts hath sent in his spirit by the former prophets: therefore came a great wrath from the LORD of hosts.Christian Standard Bible

Therefore intense anger came from the Lord of Armies.New Living Translation
Chapter 7
10Do not oppress widows, orphans, foreigners, and the poor. And do not scheme against each other.
11Your ancestors refused to listen to this message. They stubbornly turned away and put their fingers in their ears to keep from hearing.
12They made their hearts as hard as stone, so they could not hear the instructions or the messages that the Lord of Heaven’s Armies had sent them by his Spirit through the earlier prophets. That is why the Lord of Heaven’s Armies was so angry with them.
