Chapter 2
4And he said to him, 'Run, speak to that young man there, saying, ‘Jerusalem will be inhabited as open country because of the multitude of people and cattle within it. 5But I,’ declares the Lord, ‘will be a wall of fire to her on all sides, and I will be the glory in her midst.’?'
6You there! Flee from the land of the north,' declares the Lord, 'because I have spread you out like the four winds of the heavens,' declares the Lord.
7You, Zion! Escape, you who are living with the daughter of Babylon.'
8For the Lord of armies says this: 'After glory He has sent me against the nations that plunder you, for the one who touches you, touches the apple of His eye.

4And said unto him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein: 5For I, saith the LORD, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.
6Ho, ho, come forth, and flee from the land of the north, saith the LORD: for I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the heaven, saith the LORD.
7Deliver thyself, O Zion, that dwellest with the daughter of Babylon.
8For thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.

4He said to him, "Run and tell this young man: Jerusalem will be inhabited without walls because of the number of people and animals in it." 5The declaration of the Lord: "I myself will be a wall of fire around it, and I will be the glory within it."
6"Listen! Listen! Flee from the land of the north"--this is the Lord's declaration--"for I have scattered you like the four winds of heaven"--this is the Lord's declaration.
7"Listen, Zion! Escape, you who are living with Daughter Babylon."
8For the Lord of Armies says this: "In pursuit of his glory, he sent me against the nations plundering you, for whoever touches you touches the pupil of my eye.
