Chapter 1
13And the Lord responded to the angel who was speaking with me with gracious words, comforting words. 14So the angel who was speaking with me said to me, 'Proclaim, saying, ‘This is what the Lord of armies says: 'I am exceedingly jealous for Jerusalem and Zion. 15But I am very angry with the nations who are carefree; for while I was only a little angry, they furthered the disaster.'King James Version

13And the LORD answered the angel that talked with me with good words and comfortable words. 14So the angel that communed with me said unto me, Cry thou, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; I am jealous for Jerusalem and for Zion with a great jealousy. 15And I am very sore displeased with the heathen that are at ease: for I was but a little displeased, and they helped forward the affliction.Christian Standard Bible

14Then the angel said to me, 'Shout this message for all to hear: ‘This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: My love for Jerusalem and Mount Zion is passionate and strong.
15But I am very angry with the other nations that are now enjoying peace and security. I was only a little angry with my people, but the nations inflicted harm on them far beyond my intentions.
