Romans 3:6-9
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 3
6Far from it! For otherwise, how will God judge the world? 7But if through my lie the truth of God abounded to His glory, why am I also still being judged as a sinner? 8And why not say (just as we are slanderously reported and as some claim that we say), 'Let’s do evil that good may come of it'? Their condemnation is deserved.King James Version
Chapter 3
6God forbid: for then how shall God judge the world? 7For if the truth of God hath more abounded through my lie unto his glory; why yet am I also judged as a sinner? 8And not rather, (as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say,) Let us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just. 9What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 3
6Absolutely not! Otherwise, how will God judge the world? 7But if by my lie God's truth abounds to his glory, why am I also still being judged as a sinner? 8And why not say, just as some people slanderously claim we say, "Let us do what is evil so that good may come"? Their condemnation is deserved!New Living Translation
Chapter 3
6Of course not! If God were not entirely fair, how would he be qualified to judge the world? 7But,' someone might still argue, 'how can God condemn me as a sinner if my dishonesty highlights his truthfulness and brings him more glory?' 8And some people even slander us by claiming that we say, 'The more we sin, the better it is!' Those who say such things deserve to be condemned.English Standard Version
