Chapter 2
6 But you have this, that you hate the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate. 7 The one who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who overcomes, I will grant to eat from the tree of life, which is in the Paradise of God.’

'And to the angel of the church in Smyrna write: The first and the last, who was dead, and has come to life, says this:

And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;

"Let anyone who has ears to hear listen to what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who conquers, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.

6 But this is in your favor: You hate the evil deeds of the Nicolaitans, just as I do.

'Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches. To everyone who is victorious I will give fruit from the tree of life in the paradise of God.

'Write this letter to the angel of the church in Smyrna. This is the message from the one who is the First and the Last, who was dead but is now alive:
