Chapter 28
2
Command the sons of Israel and say to them, ‘You shall be careful to present to Me My offering, My food for My offerings by fire, of a soothing aroma to Me, at their appointed time.’
3
And you shall say to them, ‘This is the offering by fire which you shall offer to the
Lord
: two male lambs one year old without defect
as
a continual burnt offering every day.
4
You shall offer the one lamb in the morning, and the other lamb you shall offer at twilight;
5
also a tenth of an ephah of fine flour as a grain offering, mixed with a fourth of a hin of pure oil.
6
It is a continual burnt offering which was ordained on Mount Sinai as a soothing aroma, an offering by fire to the
Lord
.
7
Then the drink offering with it
shall be
a fourth of a hin for each lamb; in the Holy Place pour out a drink offering of strong drink to the
Lord
.

Command the children of Israel, and say unto them, My offering, and my bread for my sacrifices made by fire, for a sweet savour unto me, shall ye observe to offer unto me in their due season.

And thou shalt say unto them, This is the offering made by fire which ye shall offer unto the
Lord
; two lambs of the first year without spot day by day, for a continual burnt offering.
4
The one lamb shalt thou offer in the morning, and the other lamb shalt thou offer at even;
5
And a tenth part of an ephah of flour for a meat offering, mingled with the fourth part of an hin of beaten oil.

It is a continual burnt offering, which was ordained in mount Sinai for a sweet savour, a sacrifice made by fire unto the
Lord
.
7
And the drink offering thereof shall be the fourth part of an hin for the one lamb: in the holy place shalt thou cause the strong wine to be poured unto the
Lord
for a drink offering.

"Command the Israelites and say to them: Be sure to present to me at its appointed time my offering and my food as my fire offering, a pleasing aroma to me.

And say to them: This is the fire offering you are to present to the
Lord
: "Each day present two unblemished year-old male lambs as a regular burnt offering.
4
Offer one lamb in the morning and the other lamb at twilight,
5
along with two quarts of fine flour for a grain offering mixed with a quart of olive oil from crushed olives.
6
It is a regular burnt offering established at Mount Sinai for a pleasing aroma, a fire offering to the
Lord
.
7
The drink offering is to be a quart with each lamb. Pour out the offering of beer to the
Lord
in the sanctuary area.
New Living Translation
Chapter 28
2
Give these instructions to the people of Israel: The offerings you present as special gifts are a pleasing aroma to me; they are my food. See to it that they are brought at the appointed times and offered according to my instructions.

Say to the people: This is the special gift you must present to the
Lord
as your daily burnt offering. You must offer two one-year-old male lambs with no defects.
4
Sacrifice one lamb in the morning and the other in the evening.
5
With each lamb you must offer a grain offering of two quarts of choice flour mixed with one quart of pure oil of pressed olives.
6
This is the regular burnt offering instituted at Mount Sinai as a special gift, a pleasing aroma to the
Lord
.
7
Along with it you must present the proper liquid offering of one quart of alcoholic drink with each lamb, poured out in the Holy Place as an offering to the
Lord
.
