Numbers 15:29-34
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 15
29
You shall have one law for the native among the sons of Israel and for the stranger who resides among them, for one who does
anything wrong
unintentionally.
30
But the person who does
wrong
defiantly, whether he is a native or a stranger, that one is blaspheming the
Lord
; and that person shall be cut off from among his people.
31
Since he has despised the word of the
Lord
and has broken His commandment, that person shall be completely cut off; his guilt
will be
on him.’?'
32
Now while the sons of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man gathering wood on the Sabbath day.
33
And those who found him gathering wood brought him to Moses and Aaron, and to all the congregation;
34
and they placed him in custody, because it had not been decided what should be done to him.
King James Version
Chapter 15
29
Ye shall have one law for him that sinneth through ignorance, both for him that is born among the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them.
30
But the soul that doeth ought presumptuously, whether he be born in the land, or a stranger, the same reproacheth the
Lord
; and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
31
Because he hath despised the word of the
Lord
, and hath broken his commandment, that soul shall utterly be cut off; his iniquity shall be upon him.
32
And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man that gathered sticks upon the sabbath day.
33
And they that found him gathering sticks brought him unto Moses and Aaron, and unto all the congregation.
34
And they put him in ward, because it was not declared what should be done to him.
Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 15

30
"But the person who acts defiantly, whether native or resident alien, blasphemes the
Lord
. That person is to be cut off from his people.
31
He will certainly be cut off, because he has despised the
Lord
’s word and broken his command; his guilt remains on him."

New Living Translation
Chapter 15
29
These same instructions apply both to native-born Israelites and to the foreigners living among you.
30
But those who brazenly violate the
Lord
’s will, whether native-born Israelites or foreigners, have blasphemed the
Lord
, and they must be cut off from the community.
31
Since they have treated the
Lord
’s word with contempt and deliberately disobeyed his command, they must be completely cut off and suffer the punishment for their guilt.'

Lord
, and that person shall be cut off from among his people.
31
Because he has despised the word of the
Lord
and has broken his commandment, that person shall be utterly cut off; his iniquity shall be on him."
