Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses and said, 'We should by all means go up and take possession of it, for we will certainly prevail over it.'

But the men who had gone up with him said, 'We are not able to go up against the people, because they are too strong for us.'

And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.

But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they

Then Caleb quieted the people in the presence of Moses and said, "Let's go up now and take possession of the land because we can certainly conquer it! "

But the men who had gone up with him responded, "We can't attack the people because they are stronger than we are! "

But Caleb tried to quiet the people as they stood before Moses. 'Let’s go at once to take the land,' he said. 'We can certainly conquer it!'

But the other men who had explored the land with him disagreed. 'We can’t go up against them! They are stronger than we are!'
