Chapter 8
4And His disciples replied to Him, 'Where will anyone be able to find enough bread here in this desolate place to satisfy these people?' 5And He was asking them, 'How many loaves do you have?' And they said, 'Seven.' 6And He *directed the people to recline on the ground; and taking the seven loaves, He gave thanks and broke them, and started giving them to His disciples to serve, and they served them to the people. 7They also had a few small fish; and after He had blessed them, He told the disciples to serve these as well. 8And they ate and were satisfied; and they picked up seven large baskets full of what was left over of the broken pieces.King James Version

And they said, Seven. 6And he commanded the people to sit down on the ground: and he took the seven loaves, and gave thanks, and brake, and gave to his disciples to set before them; and they did set them before the people. 7And they had a few small fishes: and he blessed, and commanded to set them also before them. 8So they did eat, and were filled: and they took up of the broken meat that was left seven baskets.Christian Standard Bible
5"How many loaves do you have? " he asked them."Seven," they said.
6He commanded the crowd to sit down on the ground. Taking the seven loaves, he gave thanks, broke them, and gave them to his disciples to set before the people. So they served them to the crowd.
7They also had a few small fish, and after he had blessed them, he said these were to be served as well.
8They ate and were satisfied. Then they collected seven large baskets of leftover pieces.

6So Jesus told all the people to sit down on the ground. Then he took the seven loaves, thanked God for them, and broke them into pieces. He gave them to his disciples, who distributed the bread to the crowd.
7A few small fish were found, too, so Jesus also blessed these and told the disciples to distribute them.

4His disciples answered, 'But where in this remote place can anyone get enough bread to feed them?'
6He told the crowd to sit down on the ground. When he had taken the seven loaves and given thanks, he broke them and gave them to his disciples to distribute to the people, and they did so.
7They had a few small fish as well; he gave thanks for them also and told the disciples to distribute them.
8The people ate and were satisfied. Afterward the disciples picked up seven basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over.
