Chapter 15
1Early in the morning the chief priests with the elders, scribes, and the entire Council immediately held a consultation; and they bound Jesus and led Him away, and turned Him over to Pilate. 2Pilate questioned Him: 'So You are the King of the Jews?' And He answered him, 'It is as you say.' 3And the chief priests started accusing Him of many things. 4But Pilate questioned Him again, saying, 'Do You offer nothing in answer? See how many charges they are bringing against You!' 5But Jesus said nothing further in answer, so Pilate was amazed.King James Version
Chapter 15
1And straightway in the morning the chief priests held a consultation with the elders and scribes and the whole council, and bound Jesus, and carried him away, and delivered him to Pilate. 2And Pilate asked him, Art thou the King of the Jews? And he answering said unto him, Thou sayest it. 3And the chief priests accused him of many things: but he answered nothing. 4And Pilate asked him again, saying, Answerest thou nothing? behold how many things they witness against thee. 5But Jesus yet answered nothing; so that Pilate marvelled. 6Now at that feast he released unto them one prisoner, whomsoever they desired. 7And there was one named Barabbas, which lay bound with them that had made insurrection with him, who had committed murder in the insurrection. 8And the multitude crying aloud began to desire him to do as he had ever done unto them.Christian Standard Bible
New Living Translation
3Then the leading priests kept accusing him of many crimes,
4and Pilate asked him, 'Aren’t you going to answer them? What about all these charges they are bringing against you?'
5But Jesus said nothing, much to Pilate’s surprise.
6Now it was the governor’s custom each year during the Passover celebration to release one prisoner — anyone the people requested.
7One of the prisoners at that time was Barabbas, a revolutionary who had committed murder in an uprising.
8The crowd went to Pilate and asked him to release a prisoner as usual.

Chapter 15
1And as soon as it was morning, the chief priests held a consultation with the elders and scribes and the whole council. And they bound Jesus and led him away and delivered him over to Pilate. 2And Pilate asked him, “Are you the King of the Jews?” And he answered him, “You have said so.” 3And the chief priests accused him of many things. 4And Pilate again asked him, “Have you no answer to make? See how many charges they bring against you.” 5But Jesus made no further answer, so that Pilate was amazed.New International Version
New King James Version
3And the chief priests accused Him of many things, but He answered nothing.
4Then Pilate asked Him again, saying, “Do You answer nothing? See how many things they testify against You!”
5But Jesus still answered nothing, so that Pilate marveled.
6Now at the feast he was accustomed to releasing one prisoner to them, whomever they requested.
7And there was one named Barabbas, who was chained with his fellow rebels; they had committed murder in the rebellion.
8Then the multitude, crying aloud, began to ask him to do just as he had always done for them.
