Then they *brought Him to the place Golgotha, which is translated, Place of a Skull.
23
And they tried to give Him wine mixed with myrrh; but He did not take
it.
24
And they *crucified Him, and *divided up His garments among themselves, casting lots for them
to decide
what each man would take.
25
Now it was the third hour when they crucified Him.
26
The inscription of the charge against Him read, 'THE KING OF THE JEWS.'
27
And they *crucified two rebels with Him, one on His right and one on His left.

And they bring him unto the place Golgotha, which is, being interpreted, The place of a skull.

And they gave him to drink wine mingled with myrrh: but he received it not.

And when they had crucified him, they parted his garments, casting lots upon them, what every man should take.

And it was the third hour, and they crucified him.

And the superscription of his accusation was written over, THE KING OF THE JEWS.

And with him they crucify two thieves; the one on his right hand, and the other on his left.

Then the soldiers nailed him to the cross. They divided his clothes and threw dice to decide who would get each piece.

It was nine o’clock in the morning when they crucified him.

A sign announced the charge against him. It read, 'The King of the Jews.'

Two revolutionaries were crucified with him, one on his right and one on his left.
