Mark 13:12-22
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 13
12And brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents and have them put to death. 13And you will be hated by everyone because of My name, but it is the one who has endured to the end who will be saved.
14Now when you see the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION standing where it should not be— let the reader understand—then those who are in Judea must flee to the mountains.
15Whoever is on the housetop must not go down, nor go in to get anything out of his house.
16And whoever is in the field must not turn back to get his cloak.
17But woe to those women who are pregnant, and to those who are nursing babies in those days!
18Moreover, pray that it will not happen in winter.
19For those days will be such a time of tribulation as has not occurred since the beginning of the creation which God created until now, and never will again.
20And if the Lord had not shortened those days, no life would have been saved; but for the sake of the elect, whom He chose, He shortened the days.
21And then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ’; or, ‘Look, there He is’; do not believe it;
22for false christs and false prophets will arise, and will provide signs and wonders, in order to mislead, if possible, the elect.
King James Version
Chapter 13
12Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death. 13And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
14But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:
15And let him that is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither enter therein, to take any thing out of his house:
16And let him that is in the field not turn back again for to take up his garment.
17But woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
18And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter.
19For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.
20And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.
21And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not:
22For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.

Chapter 13
12"Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child. Children will rise up against parents and have them put to death. 13You will be hated by everyone because of my name, but the one who endures to the end will be saved.
14"When you see the abomination of desolation standing where it should not be" (let the reader understand), "then those in Judea must flee to the mountains.
15A man on the housetop must not come down or go in to get anything out of his house,
16and a man in the field must not go back to get his coat.
17Woe to pregnant women and nursing mothers in those days!
18"Pray it won’t happen in winter.
19For those will be days of tribulation, the kind that hasn’t been from the beginning of creation until now and never will be again.
20If the Lord had not cut those days short, no one would be saved. But he cut those days short for the sake of the elect, whom he chose.
New Living Translation
Chapter 13
12A brother will betray his brother to death, a father will betray his own child, and children will rebel against their parents and cause them to be killed. 13And everyone will hate you because you are my followers. But the one who endures to the end will be saved.
14The day is coming when you will see the sacrilegious object that causes desecration standing where he should not be.' (Reader, pay attention!) 'Then those in Judea must flee to the hills.
15A person out on the deck of a roof must not go down into the house to pack.
16A person out in the field must not return even to get a coat.
17How terrible it will be for pregnant women and for nursing mothers in those days.
18And pray that your flight will not be in winter.
19For there will be greater anguish in those days than at any time since God created the world. And it will never be so great again.
20In fact, unless the Lord shortens that time of calamity, not a single person will survive. But for the sake of his chosen ones he has shortened those days.
English Standard Version
Chapter 13
12And brother will deliver brother over to death, and the father his child, and children will rise against parents and have them put to death. 13And you will be hated by all for my name 's sake. But the one who endures to the end will be saved.
14"But when you see the abomination of desolation standing where he ought not to be (let the reader understand), then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.
15Let the one who is on the housetop not go down, nor enter his house, to take anything out,
16and let the one who is in the field not turn back to take his cloak.
17And alas for women who are pregnant and for those who are nursing infants in those days!
18Pray that it may not happen in winter.
19For in those days there will be such tribulation as has not been from the beginning of the creation that God created until now, and never will be.
20And if the Lord had not cut short the days, no human being would be saved. But for the sake of the elect, whom he chose, he shortened the days.
21And then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘Look, there he is!’ do not believe it.
22For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform signs and wonders, to lead astray, if possible, the elect.

Chapter 13
12"Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child. Children will rebel against their parents and have them put to death. 13Everyone will hate you because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.
14"When you see ‘the abomination that causes desolation’ standing where it does not belong—let the reader understand—then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.
15Let no one on the housetop go down or enter the house to take anything out.
16Let no one in the field go back to get their cloak.
17How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers!
18Pray that this will not take place in winter,
19because those will be days of distress unequaled from the beginning, when God created the world, until now—and never to be equaled again.
20"If the Lord had not cut short those days, no one would survive. But for the sake of the elect, whom he has chosen, he has shortened them.
21At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘Look, there he is!’ do not believe it.
22For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.
