‘Now if anyone of the common people sins unintentionally by doing any of the things which the
Lord
has commanded not to be done, and becomes guilty,
28
if his sin which he has committed is made known to him, then he shall bring as his offering a goat, a female without defect, for his sin which he has committed.

And if any one of the common people sin through ignorance, while he doeth somewhat against any of the commandments of the
Lord
concerning things which ought not to be done, and be guilty;
28
Or if his sin, which he hath sinned, come to his knowledge: then he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a female without blemish, for his sin which he hath sinned.

"Now if any of the common people sins unintentionally by violating one of the
Lord
’s commands, does what is prohibited, and incurs guilt,
28
or if someone informs him about the sin he has committed, then he is to bring an unblemished female goat as his offering for the sin that he has committed.
New Living Translation
Chapter 4
27
If any of the common people sin by violating one of the
Lord
’s commands, but they don’t realize it, they are still guilty.
28
When they become aware of their sin, they must bring as an offering for their sin a female goat with no defects.

's commandments ought not to be done, and realizes his guilt,
