23The land shall not be sold for ever: for the land is mine; for ye are strangers and sojourners with me.
24And in all the land of your possession ye shall grant a redemption for the land.
25If thy brother be waxen poor, and hath sold away some of his possession, and if any of his kin come to redeem it, then shall he redeem that which his brother sold.
26And if the man have none to redeem it, and himself be able to redeem it;

23"The land is not to be permanently sold because it is mine, and you are only aliens and temporary residents on my land.
24You are to allow the redemption of any land you occupy.
25If your brother becomes destitute and sells part of his property, his nearest relative may come and redeem what his brother has sold.
26If a man has no family redeemer, but he prospers and obtains enough to redeem his land,

24With every purchase of land you must grant the seller the right to buy it back.
25If one of your fellow Israelites falls into poverty and is forced to sell some family land, then a close relative should buy it back for him.
26If there is no close relative to buy the land, but the person who sold it gets enough money to buy it back,
