Leviticus 25:22-25

Chapter 25

22When you are sowing the eighth year, you can still eat old things from the produce, eating the old until the ninth year when its produce comes in.
23‘The land, moreover, shall not be sold permanently, because the land is Mine; for you are only strangers and residents with Me. 24So for every piece of your property, you are to provide for the redemption of the land.
25‘If a fellow countryman of yours becomes so poor that he sells part of his property, then his closest redeemer is to come and buy back what his relative has sold.

22And ye shall sow the eighth year, and eat yet of old fruit until the ninth year; until her fruits come in ye shall eat of the old store. 23The land shall not be sold for ever: for the land is mine; for ye are strangers and sojourners with me. 24And in all the land of your possession ye shall grant a redemption for the land.
25If thy brother be waxen poor, and hath sold away some of his possession, and if any of his kin come to redeem it, then shall he redeem that which his brother sold.

Chapter 25

22When you sow in the eighth year, you will be eating from the previous harvest. You will be eating this until the ninth year when its harvest comes in.
23"The land is not to be permanently sold because it is mine, and you are only aliens and temporary residents on my land. 24You are to allow the redemption of any land you occupy. 25If your brother becomes destitute and sells part of his property, his nearest relative may come and redeem what his brother has sold.

Chapter 25

22When you plant your fields in the eighth year, you will still be eating from the large crop of the sixth year. In fact, you will still be eating from that large crop when the new crop is harvested in the ninth year.
23The land must never be sold on a permanent basis, for the land belongs to me. You are only foreigners and tenant farmers working for me.
24With every purchase of land you must grant the seller the right to buy it back. 25If one of your fellow Israelites falls into poverty and is forced to sell some family land, then a close relative should buy it back for him.
