Leviticus 24:2-9
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 24
2Command the sons of Israel that they bring to you clear oil from beaten olives for the light, to make a lamp burn continually. 3Outside the veil of the testimony in the tent of meeting, Aaron shall keep it in order from evening to morning before the Lord continually; it shall be a permanent statute throughout your generations. 4He shall keep the lamps in order on the pure gold lampstand before the Lord continually.
5Then you shall take fine flour and bake twelve cakes with it; two-tenths of an ephah shall be in each cake.
6And you shall set them in two rows, six to a row, on the pure gold table before the Lord.
7You shall put pure frankincense on each row so that it may be a memorial portion for the bread, an offering by fire to the Lord.
8Every Sabbath day he shall set it in order before the Lord continually; it is an everlasting covenant for the sons of Israel.
9And it shall be for Aaron and his sons, and they shall eat it in a holy place; for it is most holy to him from the Lord’S offerings by fire, his portion forever.'
King James Version
Chapter 24
2Command the children of Israel, that they bring unto thee pure oil olive beaten for the light, to cause the lamps to burn continually. 3Without the vail of the testimony, in the tabernacle of the congregation, shall Aaron order it from the evening unto the morning before the Lord continually: it shall be a statute for ever in your generations. 4He shall order the lamps upon the pure candlestick before the Lord continually.
5And thou shalt take fine flour, and bake twelve cakes thereof: two tenth deals shall be in one cake.
6And thou shalt set them in two rows, six on a row, upon the pure table before the Lord.
7And thou shalt put pure frankincense upon each row, that it may be on the bread for a memorial, even an offering made by fire unto the Lord.
8Every sabbath he shall set it in order before the Lord continually, being taken from the children of Israel by an everlasting covenant.
9And it shall be Aaron's and his sons'; and they shall eat it in the holy place: for it is most holy unto him of the offerings of the Lord made by fire by a perpetual statute.

Chapter 24
2"Command the Israelites to bring you pure oil from crushed olives for the light, in order to keep the lamp burning regularly. 3Aaron is to tend it continually from evening until morning before the Lord outside the curtain of the testimony in the tent of meeting. This is a permanent statute throughout your generations. 4He must continually tend the lamps on the pure gold lampstand in the Lord’s presence.
5"Take fine flour and bake it into twelve loaves; each loaf is to be made with four quarts.
6Arrange them in two rows, six to a row, on the pure gold table before the Lord.
7Place pure frankincense near each row, so that it may serve as a memorial portion for the bread and a fire offering to the Lord.
8The bread is to be set out before the Lord every Sabbath day as a permanent covenant obligation on the part of the Israelites.
9It belongs to Aaron and his sons, who are to eat it in a holy place, for it is the holiest portion for him from the fire offerings to the Lord; this is a permanent rule."
New Living Translation
Chapter 24
2Command the people of Israel to bring you pure oil of pressed olives for the light, to keep the lamps burning continually. 3This is the lampstand that stands in the Tabernacle, in front of the inner curtain that shields the Ark of the Covenant. Aaron must keep the lamps burning in the Lord’s presence all night. This is a permanent law for you, and it must be observed from generation to generation. 4Aaron and the priests must tend the lamps on the pure gold lampstand continually in the Lord’s presence.
5You must bake twelve flat loaves of bread from choice flour, using four quarts of flour for each loaf.
6Place the bread before the Lord on the pure gold table, and arrange the loaves in two stacks, with six loaves in each stack.
7Put some pure frankincense near each stack to serve as a representative offering, a special gift presented to the Lord.
8Every Sabbath day this bread must be laid out before the Lord as a gift from the Israelites; it is an ongoing expression of the eternal covenant.
9The loaves of bread will belong to Aaron and his descendants, who must eat them in a sacred place, for they are most holy. It is the permanent right of the priests to claim this portion of the special gifts presented to the Lord.'
