10
Now the son of an Israelite woman—his father was an Egyptian—went out among the sons of Israel; and the Israelite woman’s son and an Israelite man had a fight within the camp.
11
And the son of the Israelite woman blasphemed the Name and cursed. So they brought him to Moses. (Now his mother’s name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan.)
12
Then they put him in custody,
waiting for Moses
to give them a clear decision in accordance with the command of the
Lord
.

10
And the son of an Israelitish woman, whose father was an Egyptian, went out among the children of Israel: and this son of the Israelitish woman and a man of Israel strove together in the camp;
11
And the Israelitish woman's son blasphemed the name of the
Lord
, and cursed. And they brought him unto Moses: (and his mother's name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan:)
12
And they put him in ward, that the mind of the
Lord
might be shewed them.

10
Now the son of an Israelite mother and an Egyptian father was among the Israelites. A fight broke out in the camp between the Israelite woman’s son and an Israelite man.

Her son cursed and blasphemed the Name, and they brought him to Moses. (His mother’s name was Shelomith, a daughter of Dibri of the tribe of Dan. )

They put him in custody until the
Lord
’s decision could be made clear to them.

10
One day a man who had an Israelite mother and an Egyptian father came out of his tent and got into a fight with one of the Israelite men.
11
During the fight, this son of an Israelite woman blasphemed the Name of the
Lord
with a curse. So the man was brought to Moses for judgment. His mother was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri of the tribe of Dan.

They kept the man in custody until the
Lord
’s will in the matter should become clear to them.
