Chapter 23
25You shall not do any laborious work, but you shall present an offering by fire to the Lord.’?'
26Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
27On exactly the tenth day of this seventh month is the Day of Atonement; it shall be a holy convocation for you, and you shall humble yourselves and present an offering by fire to the Lord.
28You shall not do any work on this very day, for it is a Day of Atonement, to make atonement on your behalf before the Lord your God.

25Ye shall do no servile work therein: but ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD. 26And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 27Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD. 28And ye shall do no work in that same day: for it is a day of atonement, to make an atonement for you before the LORD your God.Christian Standard Bible
26The Lord again spoke to Moses:
27"The tenth day of this seventh month is the Day of Atonement. You are to hold a sacred assembly and practice self-denial; you are to present a food offering to the Lord.
28On this particular day you are not to do any work, for it is a Day of Atonement to make atonement for yourselves before the Lord your God.

Chapter 23
25You must do no ordinary work on that day. Instead, you are to present special gifts to the Lord.'
26Then the Lord said to Moses,
27Be careful to celebrate the Day of Atonement on the tenth day of that same month — nine days after the Festival of Trumpets. You must observe it as an official day for holy assembly, a day to deny yourselves and present special gifts to the Lord.
28Do no work during that entire day because it is the Day of Atonement, when offerings of purification are made for you, making you right with the Lord your God.
