Chapter 19

24And in the fourth year all its fruit shall be holy, an offering of praise to the Lord. 25But in the fifth year you shall eat its fruit, so that its yield may increase for you; I am the Lord your God.
26‘You shall not eat any meat with the blood. You shall not practice divination nor soothsaying. 27You shall not round off the hairline of your heads, nor trim the edges of your beard. 28You shall not make any cuts in your body for the dead, nor make any tattoo marks on yourselves: I am the Lord.
29‘Do not profane your daughter by making her a prostitute, so that the land does not fall into prostitution, and the land does not become full of outrageous sin. 30You shall keep My Sabbaths and revere My sanctuary; I am the Lord.
31‘Do not turn to mediums or spiritists; do not seek them out to be defiled by them. I am the Lord your God.
32‘You shall stand up in the presence of the grayheaded and honor elders, and you shall fear your God; I am the Lord.
33‘When a stranger resides with you in your land, you shall not do him wrong. 34The stranger who resides with you shall be to you as the native among you, and you shall love him as yourself, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt; I am the Lord your God.
35‘You shall do no wrong in judgment, in measurement of weight, or volume. 36You shall have accurate balances, accurate weights, an accurate ephah, and an accurate hin; I am the Lord your God, who brought you out from the land of Egypt.

30Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the LORD. 31Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God. 32Thou shalt rise up before the hoary head, and honour the face of the old man, and fear thy God: I am the LORD. 33And if a stranger sojourn with thee in your land, ye shall not vex him. 34But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God. 35Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment, in meteyard, in weight, or in measure. 36Just balances, just weights, a just ephah, and a just hin, shall ye have: I am the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt.

26"You are not to eat anything with blood in it. You are not to practice divination or witchcraft. 27You are not to cut off the hair at the sides of your head or mar the edge of your beard. 28You are not to make gashes on your bodies for the dead or put tattoo marks on yourselves; I am the Lord.
29"Do not debase your daughter by making her a prostitute, or the land will be prostituted and filled with depravity. 30Keep my Sabbaths and revere my sanctuary; I am the Lord.
31"Do not turn to mediums or consult spiritists, or you will be defiled by them; I am the Lord your God.
32"You are to rise in the presence of the elderly and honor the old. Fear your God; I am the Lord.
33"When an alien resides with you in your land, you must not oppress him. 34You will regard the alien who resides with you as the native-born among you. You are to love him as yourself, for you were aliens in the land of Egypt; I am the Lord your God.
35"Do not be unfair in measurements of length, weight, or volume. 36You are to have honest balances, honest weights, an honest dry measure, and an honest liquid measure; I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt.

Chapter 19

24In the fourth year the entire crop must be consecrated to the Lord as a celebration of praise. 25Finally, in the fifth year you may eat the fruit. If you follow this pattern, your harvest will increase. I am the Lord your God.
26Do not eat meat that has not been drained of its blood. 'Do not practice fortune-telling or witchcraft.
27Do not trim off the hair on your temples or trim your beards.
28Do not cut your bodies for the dead, and do not mark your skin with tattoos. I am the Lord.
29Do not defile your daughter by making her a prostitute, or the land will be filled with prostitution and wickedness.
30Keep my Sabbath days of rest, and show reverence toward my sanctuary. I am the Lord.
31Do not defile yourselves by turning to mediums or to those who consult the spirits of the dead. I am the Lord your God.
32Stand up in the presence of the elderly, and show respect for the aged. Fear your God. I am the Lord.
33Do not take advantage of foreigners who live among you in your land. 34Treat them like native-born Israelites, and love them as you love yourself. Remember that you were once foreigners living in the land of Egypt. I am the Lord your God.
35Do not use dishonest standards when measuring length, weight, or volume. 36Your scales and weights must be accurate. Your containers for measuring dry materials or liquids must be accurate. I am the Lord your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt.
