Chapter 17
1Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 2Speak to Aaron and to his sons and to all the sons of Israel, and say to them, ‘This is what the Lord has commanded, saying, 3Anyone from the house of Israel who slaughters an ox, a lamb, or a goat in the camp, or slaughters it outside the camp, 4and has not brought it to the doorway of the tent of meeting to present it as an offering to the Lord in front of the tabernacle of the Lord, bloodshed is to be counted against that person. He has shed blood, and that person shall be cut off from among his people.King James Version

Chapter 17
1The Lord spoke to Moses: 2"Speak to Aaron, his sons, and all the Israelites and tell them: This is what the Lord has commanded: 3Anyone from the house of Israel who slaughters an ox, sheep, or goat in the camp, or slaughters it outside the camp, 4instead of bringing it to the entrance to the tent of meeting to present it as an offering to the Lord before his tabernacle--that person will be considered guilty. Chapter 17
1Then the Lord said to Moses, 2Give the following instructions to Aaron and his sons and all the people of Israel. This is what the Lord has commanded.
3If any native Israelite sacrifices a bull or a lamb or a goat anywhere inside or outside the camp
4instead of bringing it to the entrance of the Tabernacle to present it as an offering to the Lord, that person will be as guilty as a murderer. Such a person has shed blood and will be cut off from the community.
