So the sons of Israel did not remember the
Lord
their God, who had saved them from the hands of all their enemies on every side;
35
nor did they show kindness to the household of Jerubbaal (
that is,
Gideon) in accordance with all the good that he had done for Israel.

And the children of Israel remembered not the
Lord
their God, who had delivered them out of the hands of all their enemies on every side:
35
Neither shewed they kindness to the house of Jerubbaal, namely, Gideon, according to all the goodness which he had shewed unto Israel.

The Israelites did not remember the
Lord
their God who had rescued them from the hand of the enemies around them.

They did not show kindness to the house of Jerubbaal (that is, Gideon) for all the good he had done for Israel.

Lord
their God, who had rescued them from all their enemies surrounding them.

Nor did they show any loyalty to the family of Jerub-baal (that is, Gideon), despite all the good he had done for Israel.

their God, who had delivered them from the hand of all their enemies on every side,

and they did not show steadfast love to the family of Jerubbaal (that is, Gideon) in return for all the good that he had done to Israel.
