Joshua 11:4-6
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 11
4
Then they came out, they and all their armies with them,
as
many people as the sand that is on the seashore, with very many horses and chariots.
5
So all of these kings gathered together, and came and encamped together at the waters of Merom, to fight against Israel.
6
Yet the
Lord
said to Joshua, 'Do not be afraid because of them, for tomorrow at this time I am going to turn all of them over to Israel
as good as
dead; you shall hamstring their horses and burn their chariots with fire.'
King James Version
Chapter 11
4
And they went out, they and all their hosts with them, much people, even as the sand that is upon the sea shore in multitude, with horses and chariots very many.
5
And when all these kings were met together, they came and pitched together at the waters of Merom, to fight against Israel.
6
And the
Lord
said unto Joshua, Be not afraid because of them: for to morrow about this time will I deliver them up all slain before Israel: thou shalt hough their horses, and burn their chariots with fire.
Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 11
4
They went out with all their armies—a multitude as numerous as the sand on the seashore —along with a vast number of horses and chariots.
5
All these kings joined forces; they came and camped together at the Waters of Merom to attack Israel.
6
The
Lord
said to Joshua, "Do not be afraid of them, for at this time tomorrow I will cause all of them to be killed before Israel. You are to hamstring their horses and burn their chariots."
New Living Translation
Chapter 11
4
All these kings came out to fight. Their combined armies formed a vast horde. And with all their horses and chariots, they covered the landscape like the sand on the seashore.
5
The kings joined forces and established their camp around the water near Merom to fight against Israel.
6
Then the
Lord
said to Joshua, 'Do not be afraid of them. By this time tomorrow I will hand all of them over to Israel as dead men. Then you must cripple their horses and burn their chariots.'
English Standard Version

And all these kings joined their forces and came and encamped together at the waters of Merom to fight against Israel.
6
And the
Lord
said to Joshua, "Do not be afraid of them, for tomorrow at this time I will give over all of them, slain, to Israel. You shall hamstring their horses and burn their chariots with fire."
